    Richard established Chalk Newton Geosciences after spending a career working overseas in the petroleum industry. His specialism is in stratigraphy, sedimentology and palaeontology. Returning to Dorset in 2018, he built this niche company providing quality outdoor learning in geology, exploring the rocks and landscapes of Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.
